Italian Lemon Bars

   
INGREDIENTS

Crust:
¼ lb. butter
1c flour
¼ c sugar
Melt butter, add sugar & flour.

Press into an 8x8" pan. Cook 15 minutes at 350'.

Filling:
1c sugar
2 T flour
½ tsp. baking powder
2 T lemon juice (fresh)
Grated rind of 1 lemon
2 eggs (beaten)

Pour this over crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350'. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot.
