Chef/Owner Ben Richardson graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 1998 with an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies. While attending CCA he worked extensively for Taste Catering in San Francisco as a private chef throughout the Bay Area. After graduation he cooked in several different restaurants ranging from Californian cuisine to Northern Italian and Mediterranean fare. He was deeply involved with the opening of several restaurants throughout Northern California prior to his arrival on the Central Coast. As the executive chef for NOVO restaurant in San Luis Obispo, his passion for global cuisine came through. He continues to find inspiration in the quality and diversity of foods found along the Central Coast. This translates into every item he creates. He lives in Atascadero with his wife and two sons.
